About
Little Fighters, Big Dreams was founded to raise awareness among the public and decision-makers about the critical lack of federal funding for childhood cancer research. By finding meaningful ways to support these brave young superheroes and their families in their fight against the disease, we can amplify awareness and drive action for this vital cause.

Pediatric cancer research receives only a small fraction of the funding allocated to adult cancer research. The largest single contributor, the Federal Government, dedicates just 4% of its annual cancer research budget to childhood cancer—amounting to less than $3.00 per child.

Every child deserves to laugh, to play, to grow and thrive. Cancer steals those precious years, those joyful moments of childhood.
My Mission
After losing both my Meemom and Great Grandmother to the devastating effects of cancer and its treatments, I was deeply moved to get involved in the Dancer Against Cancer Ambassador program in 2021. Their struggles ignited a passion in me to make a difference, and I wanted to find a way to honor their memory by helping others. Since I began my journey with this incredible program, I’ve witnessed the heartbreaking reality that an increasing number of youth in my dance community and beyond are being affected by childhood cancer. The emotional and physical toll cancer takes on young lives is something I can't ignore, and I believe it’s crucial to give these young fighters the support and resources they need. I’ve come to realize that this fight is about so much more than just the individual—it’s about creating a ripple effect of hope and awareness across communities everywhere.
